Chris TinsonManaging Director
Chris founded Veritas in 2009; a bold move considering we were in the midst of the worst recession in a generation. The aim was then, and still remains today, to bring leading businesses and top talent together. Chris is passionate about ensuring our clients and candidates receive the highest levels of service and that as a business we go above and beyond expectations.
Away from the office Chris spends as much time as possible with his growing family. Often, to the embarrassment of Faye, he can be found having just as much fun as Joseph and George on the swings and slides at Roundhay Park.
Never one to walk away from a challenge, Chris is usually combining work and family life with training for numerous endurance events; Triathlons, Duathlons, Marathons and Climbs.
He’s also been known to throw himself out of a plane from time to time!
Luke became a Recruitment Consultant in 2008 after completing a Law Degree and the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Met University. He decided the law wasn’t for him and transferred his skills to the recruitment industry.
He developed his experience with an award-winning legal recruitment company before joining Veritas in 2014. He is now a Director but remains engrossed in his ‘day job’ as a recruiter and works hard to provide quality service levels.
Luke believes there are gaps in the market for ethical recruiters who do things the right way. He can often be seen using a magical invention called the telephone; a trait that seems to welcomed by clients and candidates who want a communicative, detailed approach to their recruitment assignment or job search.
Away from Veritas, Luke, has a passion for football coaching. He is the Co-Founder of a Leeds based children’s coaching school – Foot-Tech Academy – and spends a majority of his free time attempting to create the next Lionel Messi!
Thomas JonesResearch & PR Specialist
Whilst studying a master’s degree in Public Relations & Communications at Leeds Beckett University, Tom joined Veritas knowing he can utilise his research and public relations skills in the recruitment industry.
Furthermore, Tom is interested in the impact social media has on businesses, and how social strategies can be implemented.
Originally from Chester, Tom’s past employment varies from the property industry to animal conservation at Chester Zoo. In his spare time, Tom can be found hanging out at one of the many music venues across Leeds, or watching his beloved Aston Villa on Channel 5 every Saturday evening.
