DEFRA Boss Seeks to Reassure Food Industry

Environment secretary Andrea Leadsom has made it apparent that food manufacturers and farmers needn’t worry about access to migrant workers after Brexit has taken place.

The news comes from FoodManufacture.co.uk, as Leadsom sang the praises of non-UK EU workers in the food and farming industry at her keynote conference in Oxford.

However, the cabinet minister said she could not be specific about what deals the government would be able to negotiate following the trigger of Article 50.
