Industry leaders from the food manufacturing industry came together at The Business Leaders’ Forum – organised by the Food Manufacture Group.

As FoodManufacture.co.uk reports here, obesity strategy, labour shortages and the Apprenticeship Levy were all hot topics at the forum, which was held last month. There were debates as to where the industry would be three years from now.

However, despite these challenges, there was still a large degree of optimism surrounding this seminar.

RSA Global Consulting deputy director Martin Turner said, “I think that whilst we’re in a political and economic environment of uncertainty, that brings opportunities as well as challenges.”
