Veritas Shoot for the Stars!
Team V made the journey from the city streets of Leeds to the green fields of Knaresborough to celebrate recent success in Q1.
Hazel Bank Shooting Ground was the setting for a clay pigeon ‘shoot off’ between the competitive Team V members – all playing for an Easter-themed grand prize. Can you guess what it is?
On the menu in Knaresborough was 25 rounds each on an over and under shotgun and a 3 shot pump action shotgun. Luke started the round off well, hitting clays consistently. Managing director Chris wasn’t far behind in a close second place. This theme continued throughout the rounds as resourcer Tom trailed behind the two seasoned shooters all day long.
50 shots later (no, not Tequila), director Luke was the eventual winner – breezing his way past his opponents as he made his way onto the podium to collect his well-deserved Cadbury Creme Egg easter egg. Well done, Luke!
Regular events such as this one serve as an incentive and here at Veritas, we are true to the phrase ‘work hard, play hard!’
Our thanks go out to everyone at Hazel Bank Shooting Ground and our instructor Nevin, for a fantastic experience which we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
